Quiero Y Puedo Projecto
Project Description : For this project we were assigned a kid from the orphanage Ciudad de Angeles, and we had to make them a toy. We were introduced to the project by getting to act like little kids for a whole week. That week was alot of fun. I got assigned to a little girl named Miriam, she is 9 years old.
2 Hour Challenge: When we were starting we were given a challenge of 2 hours and we had to make a prototype of the toy we were going to make. My partner and I made a bracelet kit. That included where to hold your bracelets, where to keep the strings and an instructions.
Process: I decided to make stuffed animals for Miriam because my sister is really good at making them and she could help me. SO over thanksgiving break I worked on making a stuffed elephant and a giraffe. We made the stuffed animals out of felt and my sister showed me how to do a blanket stitch to connect the pieces.
