`Introduction |
In this project students got to learn about current international events through the point of view of a specific country and United Nations committee. There were four committees, UNICEF #1, UNICEF #2, WHO #1, WHO #2, UNHRC #1, and UNHRC #2. Every committee was made up of different countries, I was In UNIFEC #2 and was representing the country of Myanmar. The conference lasted two days, each day we had a different topic to discuss, and we were given 3 weeks to prepare.

ResearchThis is one of the articles that helped me the most because on the second day of the conference my committee was going to be discussing the topic of rape, and it gave me a lot of facts and background knowledge. During the conference it was really useful to be able to discuss and look back on the article.

My opening speech kinda stayed the same through out the process because while I was writing the first draft my teacher was helping. But I did get some critique and add some more information than from what I had originally added. If I could change anything, I would change how much I talked about each topic and talk about them more evenly.

When I first started writing my position paper I nervous about how it was going to turn out. I talked about too many different topics. After we got some critiques some students who had done MUN before helped me and gave some guild lines, as to what to write about.

Conference |
During the conference I'm most proud of the speaking that I did, because going into it I was really nervous and didn't what to speak. When we had started I let myself get comfortable and have other speak before I started too.

"Golden Moments"
During the second day of the conference, there was one moment that stood out to me because the other delegates that were in my committee all kinda kept saying the same thing about the topic and there was this one piece of information that I had really prepared that was against them. And I felt pretty proud of how I informed the committee about it, and then they all kinda ignored me because it made their solution harder. So I tried to keep pressing on that one point through out the day.
